Limited-time program gives qualifying Dakota Lithium owners a Power Recovery Credit and an easier path to advanced Norsk Lithium marine power

New Hope, Minn. (October 14, 2026) – Norsk Lithium has launched its new Power Recovery Program, a limited-time promotional program created for qualifying *Dakota Lithium® owners who have previously sought assistance for unresolved technical, support or warranty concerns and are exploring alternative battery solutions.

Open from October 1 through December 31, 2026, the program allows qualifying customers to apply for a Power Recovery Credit toward eligible Norsk Lithium products. Approved applicants have 30 calendar days from the date their credit is issued to redeem it, even when that period extends beyond December 31.

The program is designed to make the transition to Norsk Lithium straightforward. Customers identify the Dakota Lithium battery they currently own, and Norsk’s online application presents either the Closest Norsk Match or an Upgraded Norsk Match, giving anglers an immediate starting point for evaluating a new power system.

“The Power Recovery Program was created to give anglers another option,” said Jakob Hals, Director of Product Technology at Norsk Lithium. “A lot of customers have made significant investments in lithium power, and when they’re ready to explore something different, we want to make that process simple. We can help identify the Norsk battery that best fits their existing setup, show them the technology and features available in that system, and, if they qualify, provide a Power Recovery Credit to help make the transition.”

A Changing Landscape for Dakota Lithium Owners

The program comes following Dragonfly Energy’s acquisition of substantially all operating assets associated with the Dakota Lithium brand earlier this year.

Dakota Lithium subsequently published a new Limited Warranty effective September 15, 2026. According to Dakota Lithium, that current warranty applies to covered products sold on or after September 1, 2026. Products purchased before September 1 are handled separately through Dragonfly Energy’s Legacy Customer Support Program, which the company describes as a voluntary goodwill accommodation separate from the current Dakota Lithium Limited Warranty.

Norsk Lithium’s Power Recovery Program is independent of both companies. It does not assume, administer, replace or modify a Dakota Lithium or Dragonfly Energy warranty or the Legacy Customer Support Program. The program instead provides another option for qualifying customers who have previously sought assistance and are looking for a different battery, technology and support experience.

Finding the Right Norsk Battery Without the Guesswork

One of the central features of the Power Recovery Program is an online matching process designed to make switching battery systems easier.
