HuntFishTravel Podcast Wins First Place in Fishing Podcast Category at the 2025 AGLOW Awards In Craft

Eau Claire, Wisconsin – September 25, 2025 – The HuntFishTravel Podcast, hosted by outdoor communicator and podcaster Carrie Zylka, proudly announces its latest achievement. At the 2025 Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers Annual Conference Awards In Craft Dinner and Award Show, the program was honored with First Place in the Fishing Podcast category.

The award was presented for the episode titled “Snook, Redfish and Trout: My Florida Inshore Slam with Capt. Jay Withers” (listen here). Submissions are judged anonymously by a panel of professional outdoor communicators and are evaluated on creativity, technical excellence, audience impact, and overall contribution to the outdoor communication field. Only works that were published or released between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025 were eligible for this year’s competition, making the award an acknowledgment of both timeliness and quality.
