Gear Review: Fuse Mossy Oak Micro USB Car Charger

Imagine a scenario where you have been sitting in a treestand for somewhere between 3 and 10 hours and you played on your smartphone enough that the battery is dead.  Your hunt is over for the day but you need to call your wife to let her know that you are on your way home.  Don’t you wish you had a phone charger in your hunting truck?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANow realize that this is an extremely accurate scenario of almost every hunting trip out (at least for me).  In this day and age of modern technology, we find it hard to be without our devices.  We check in on our friends on Facebook or Twitter from our treestands or ground blinds and portable power is a huge problem.  Having a car charger for your phone is basically a necessity these days and having one that not only works but is stylish is always a bonus.  How many of us hunters have camo seat covers? Now you can have a car charger that will blend right in with the Fuse Mossy Oak Micro USB Car ChargerOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA  at the FusePlusYou.com website!

You want a car charger that says something about who you are and the way you live your life, then the fuse mossy oak charger is for you!

Product Rating

Overall Rating: 4

MSRP:  $19.99

Performance: Very good, works flawlessly with my galaxy S3.  An LED indicator lets you know that the charger is plugged in and working.c

Ease of Use: Excellent, plug it into the power port in your vehicle and plug it into your phone.

Versatility:  Excellent, will work on a multitude of phones and tablets that use the micro USB port.

Durability: This is where the 4 rating comes in.  The cord coating broke when it was 20 below and I plugged in my phone.  It still works but the insulation coating is cracked.

Improvements to be made:  Cold weather cord coatings should be used so that this item remains safe and functional in all weather environments.
